Brewery ‘t IJ is a well-known brewery in Amsterdam, located in a former bathhouse next to the distinctive mill de Gooyer. The brewery was founded in 1985 and has since grown into one of the city’s most popular breweries. Besides tasting beers, you can also take a tour of the brewery here. During this tour, you will learn more about the brewing process.
From a former historic bathhouse on Javaplein, Bathhouse Oedipus serves colourful beers with striking names such as Mannenliefde (Man’s Love), Thai Thai and Mama. Oedipus Brewing was set up by four friends. They make imaginative beers and in doing so aim to make beer exciting, tasty and accessible to all.
At De eeuwige jeugd, you can stop by for a fresh and fruity blonde beer called ¨Lellebel¨. In the tasting room, you can enjoy not only the beers, but also goof snacks and dishes. It also hosts regular events, such as beer tastings and live music nights, which add to the lively atmosphere.
