Exhibition by Silvie Konings
Opening & Party -Sunday december 3rd
From 3 December until the end of January
With the exhibition Light Struck, Silvie wants to take you out of this everyday reality for a moment to give you a perspective.
Where are you and who are you if you can disappear for a moment and purely watch and feel? What is color, what is movement and what is reality?
Light is the material used to build and create; the worlds are created by mixing colors, movement of light, reflection and different materials.
”Time and again the unnameable reveals itself. She works intuitively, stimulating, you can dream for a moment. Her style is characterized by the ability to ‘get under the skin’. Through stories from life, sometimes philosophical, sometimes abstract, sometimes aesthetic, but always with a sharp eye for the universal feelings behind them.”

”All the freaky people make the beauty of the world!”
Silvie Konings is a video and light artist, filmmaker and photographer.
She believes in the power of movement. She takes you on an adventure and through change a new world can emerge.
She places a unique framework and that is a framework to share with others! From the very beginning, she has explored the edges of different genres, both visually and narratively. Color, reflection and movement are her lifeline. New worlds may arise through color, space and feeling. Where the power of texture, reflection and movement always comes first.
