La ÉPOCA returns to Amsterdam with a special edition inspired by Cali, Colombia, the world capital of salsa. Expect live salsa sounds, an all-vinyl set, a Salsa Caleña dance show, and “EL Barrio”: a space inspired by Latin American neighborhood culture, bringing together music, domino, and community vibes.

La Época is a cultural event series based in Amsterdam, celebrating the golden era of salsa from the 1950s to the 1970s. Through vinyl DJs, live bands and stylish nights, it brings the true soul of salsa back to life.

Its mission is to honor the legends who shaped the genre artists like Celia Cruz, Héctor Lavoe, Willie Colón, Frankie Ruiz, and to build a community around music, culture and connection. La Época creates timeless experiences where community, identity and elegance come together, and where salsa is not just danced, but lived, sung and felt.
