Friday August 2nd and Saturday August 3rd: Experience a unique live performance at Hotel Arena! On these days, Anna Witkowska and Rob Verbunt perform an authentic WitkowskaVerbunt shoot, where they interact with the audience to work on a portrait, act and give each other instructions. This offers visitors and guests a unique view of vibrant art within the hotel and bridges the gap between performance art in everyday spaces, such as the hallway or restaurant, and the art gallery.

“An introspective journey into
the mystery of time and love”
A Multimedia Journey
The film is a further completion of the multimedia project ‘The Dream Vehicle’, which started in 2019 as a photographic study and counts as an extension of the 2023 book of the same name, in which Anna and Rob as protagonists, travelling in their classic Volvo, depict the universal search for love.
For the art film, filmmaker Immanuel Bom travelled with the duo to the project’s most prominent locations, filming performances, landscapes and photo sessions. He also motivated Anna and Rob to buy a camcorder to document their own working processes. The result, several hundred hours of film material, was seamlessly transformed by Bom into the cinematic artwork that was shown to the general public on 14 July.
For the film, WitkowskaVerbunt wrote several pieces of music and the duo turned to oboist Maud Sauer and music producer Martin Verheesen.
Get carried away by film and music as WitkowskaVerbunt take another step in this long-running project. Their plea for love expresses itself in a powerful and bittersweet dance with the passing of time.
The exhibition runs until 8 August.
