We wanted to thank all people for joining us at Hotel Arena for the VRIJheids-MI-BO, a special event commemorating Liberation Day. It was an honour to have you celebrate this important day with us.

 

The event was a great success, with guests enjoying the lively music of DJ Je Moeder & Bart Sevenhuijsen and the Amsterdam Klezmer Band. The Hotelschool The Hague students’ food truck was a big hit, serving delicious Freedom Soup, while our sunny terrace at PARK café / restaurant provided the perfect setting to enjoy some great food, summer cocktails, and tasty snacks.

 

We also had the opportunity to learn about the history of the Second World War and its impact on the Oosterpark, with the two guided tours scheduled in collaboration with OOSTCAST.
